One thing that truly caught me off guard was what happened after I had stomach surgery. My cat was probably wondering what the hell was going on because I always picked her up, but I was unable to lift anything, not even her. I gave her room to come cuddle up while I was kicking back on the couch. She leaped onto the couch, placing her hand on my stomach and threatening to climb on me, but she quickly withdrew her paw as if realizing she couldn’t touch that spot. She was quite cautious not to touch my stomach for a few weeks.

My cat has been raised with our dog since she was a kitten, so she almost plays fetch.
My dog also raised my present kitty. He makes holes in the yard, rolls in the mud and dirt, doesn’t mind getting wet, begs for water from the bathtub, and uses a few gestures that are similar to sign language. Additionally, he recently adopted a stray cat who exactly like him, so as soon as we can get him inspected, we’ll have a matching pair.
I have seen that in my sister’s house… it was so strange to me…
A few years ago, my cat, who has since passed away, would often bring in really big earthworms. Amazingly large 7"/8"/9" long ones. She would also sneak into people’s houses through open windows, taking things like hair ties and socks; once, she even entered with a bath sponge.
When she brought something in, she would always yowl loudly, like a mother cat summoning her kittens.
My cat brought in worms all one winter too. Would play with them and hide them under the rug.
My dog has been imposing a bedtime routine. Continually reminds everyone to go to bed when he says.
That’s my canine companion. Awful alarm clock he can sleep through the morning, but if you arrive at bed more than five minutes late, he will become irate.
This is what my kitties do. At ten o’clock at night, they begin. At 10:30 at night, if I’m not in bed, they knock stuff over in the shower.
Mine was an alarm clock. He would begin by licking you, but if you didn’t respond after two or three licks, he’d take a deep breath and sneeze on you! That’s always worked!
My cat will sit in the bathroom in the dark for hours at a time, looking into space. She also has a foot fetish and will randomly lick people’s shoes and feet. It’s strange how she rushes at the wall and then spring jumps off of it. Oh, and she used to try to breastfeed from me over her clothes, but happily, she has outgrown it lol.
omg! I call my cat a weirdo for this. He will nibble their feet, bear hug them, and rub his face on them. Stinky feet appear to entice him more.
My 14-year-old black cat spontaneously potty trained himself, but just once.
I heard running water in my bathroom and scared out because what the heck is that? I ran in and saw him squatting to pee in the toilet.
