Older Kitten Nursing on Runt's Ears - Should I Be Worried?

Hello everyone…

I have a bit of a concern with my two rescued kittens. The runt of the litter is very small but healthy, while the other sibling has grown into a big, healthy, playful kitten. However, when they sleep together, the older kitten is using the runt’s ears to nurse on!

When they were younger, the older kitten would nurse on everything. They were abandoned by their mother far too soon, so we bought feeding bottles to help with the weaning period. Now, at nearly 11 weeks old, the older kitten is still nursing on the baby’s ears.

I find the runt soaked every morning and worry this may be affecting them both negatively. Is this something I should be concerned about? Any advice or experiences will be so appreciated.

Aww he is just using bro’s ear as a pacifier :heart_eyes:
