What are the advantages and disadvantages of choosing clumping cat litter instead of non-clumping? Our cats currently use non-clumping litter, but I’ve heard clumping litter is easier to manage. However, I’ve also heard that some cats don’t like it. Is there a specific reason for this, or is it just a matter of preference?

One of the Advantages is Easier to Clean: Clumping litter forms solid clumps when in contact with moisture, making it easier to scoop out waste daily.

Because you only need to remove soiled clumps rather than replacing the entire litter box, clumping litter can be more cost-effective in the long run.

Some cats may not like the texture or feel of clumping litter, especially if they’re used to non-clumping litter.
