Not drooling, not foaming, but my cat has a few clear water droplets forming under his mouth when he is sitting/relaxing. Is this normal? He is pretty warm and furry, especially near his mouth and other places without much ventilation.
Are you sure it’s not drooling? Some cats drool when they’re happy and chill.
My cat does not drool. I now understand that cats can do this when relaxed, but my cat has never done that before.
I had a cat that would drool sometimes when she got very happy. Idk how old your cat is, but it can develop in cats when they get older and their teeth aren’t like they used to be.
If it persists, consider checking with a vet. It might be related to grooming or even dental issues. Better to be safe!
