I found a kitten, she’s about 7 or 8 weeks and seems very calm already but playful with toys. I’m considering keeping her in my room with a whole cat setup. The reason for this is our older husky is too playful and could accidentally hurt her. I plan to introduce them slowly and will never let the kitten out with the husky alone.
Keeping the kitten in your room sounds like a safe plan, especially with the husky around. Just make sure she has plenty of stimulation, like toys, scratching posts, and places to explore. A window hammock is a great idea for her to enjoy the view!
