I can't take care of my birds

I have seven birds (4 budgies, 2 cockatiels, and a fischer), but I have too much work in school and can’t find time to clean their cages or let them out. It’s stressing me out. I tried to keep them all in the same room to make it easier, but it’s too noisy and I can’t focus on anything. They fill the room with their food shells.

I’ve decided to keep only one (the fischer) and offer the others for adoption. We have an app where I can offer pets online while keeping them until someone adopts them. But I’m afraid I’ll miss them and feel guilty. What should I do?

Is there a local Facebook group for bird owners? Those groups often have reputable owners willing to take in new pets. You can ensure they go to a good home where they’ll be well cared for.

Birds are intelligent animals that need interaction and a clean home. I understand you’ll miss them, but it’s not fair to keep them cooped up all day. Finding someone who can provide proper care is probably best.
