I’m feeling really overwhelmed and in need of some advice. My dog has recently been diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), and the vet says surgery is the best option to prevent further damage. The problem is, the cost of the surgery is way beyond what I can afford right now.
I’ve looked into pet insurance and loans, but it seems like a long shot. Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any suggestions on how to manage this? I hate to see my dog in pain, but I’m at a loss financially.
