Hello, everybody. I’ll be heading to London Heathrow with my 12-year-old cat in ten days. She will be in cargo with IAG Cargo, and IAG has just informed me that I will require a customs brokering agent on the ground.
Do you have any experience with customs agents at LHR? IAG Cargo has attached the following list of choices.
PenAir UK, Pets Abroad UK, Skypets International, PBS International Freight Limited, Paws & Planes, Fly Pets, Animals Aircare Ltd, and Moon Bridge Air & Project Services Ltd
Please share any input or experience. It would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard positive things about Animals Aircare Ltd. They specialize in pet travel and appeared to be highly informed about the customs process.

Just a heads up, customs can be a bit tricky. Make sure all your paperwork is in order before you arrive. It can save you a lot of hassle.

I used PBS International Freight Limited, and they were satisfactory, however communication could have been improved. Make sure to ask a lot of questions if you go with them!

I recommend Skypets International for their customer service. They were very responsive and helped me with the entire process. You can check the Agent out…

Remember the importance of pet vaccinations and health certificates for your cat, as customs can be strict about them.
