Embrace or ManyPets for ITP cat?

My 7-month cat was recently diagnosed with ITP (Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia) and is currently under steroid treatment and in stable condition. The medical bill without insurance was significant, and while we can manage this time, it would be too much if she relapses in the future. We’re considering pet insurance since this is a long-term issue.

I’ve researched two options: Embrace and ManyPets. I understand that neither will insure a cat with a pre-existing condition unless it’s symptom-free for one year (Embrace) or 18 months (ManyPets). I’m looking for anyone who has experience with either of these companies. Can you share your thoughts? Thank you!

I have Embrace for my dog, and they’ve been great. Their customer service is responsive, and the claims process is straightforward.

ManyPets has been good for my cat. They cover a lot of treatments, but their waiting period can be a bit frustrating.

Make sure to read the fine print on both policies. I found some exclusions with ManyPets that surprised me.

I was in a similar situation. Both companies are reputable, but I went with Embrace because their plan felt more comprehensive.

Check out reviews online. I read some mixed feedback about ManyPets regarding claim approvals.

I have both companies, and I prefer Embrace for their quick claims processing. Just my two cents!

I’ve heard good things about ManyPets, but their policy on pre-existing conditions is strict.

Make sure to consider your budget as well. Both can get pricey, especially with ongoing conditions.

I used to have Embrace, but I switched to another company because of rising premiums. Just a thought!

No matter which one you choose, make sure to keep all your vet records organized. It helps a lot when filing claims!
