I am a little concerned. The vet trimmed my cat’s whiskers today during a haircut. I mentioned that cats use whiskers for balance, but the vet said it’s okay for house cats and they only need them in the wild.
Is there anyone who can clarify this for me? I’d like to make sure my cat is alright.
As long as the hair follicles weren’t damaged or removed during surgery, the whiskers will regrow.
