Hi, our youngest cat 
has been gone for 24 hours now. We live on the top floor of a townhouse in Amsterdam, and he probably left the house through our bathroom, where he’s usually outside at night. We put flyers in mailboxes 
and posted in the street group chat. Any advice on how to get him back?

You can check with the nearest Animal Control agencies in your area to see if they have your lost pet. They may have information or the pet itself if it was brought in.
My thoughts are that it is probably the breeding season. Most breeding takes time during the day as opposed to night times. So he could be somewhere calming down a cat in its estrus cycle
