I would suggest Cornish Rex and Devon Rex cats, but they do shed. You might not notice as much since their fur is very short, but they shed like regular cats. Alternatively, you could adopt an older Sphynx cat or buy one from a breeder who is retiring their breeding cats. Retired cats are usually around 3-5 years old, and breeders often neuter them before selling, so they cost less than kittens. You could also look for Sphynx cats that need rehoming, which are often cheaper, but you might need to travel farther to get one.

Remember that if your pets get sick, it can be very expensive. So, make sure you have insurance and can cover those costs.

I once had a Maine Coon, and while not completely shed-free, the fur wasn’t as much of a hassle as some others. Look into Siberian cats too; they’re known for being low-shedding. They might just be the right fit
