I’ve been running around all day between the PDSA, RSPCA, and local food banks. I managed to get some food for myself, but it’s been nearly impossible to find anything for my cats. I’m disabled, so it’s been chaotic trying to get everything done since not many food banks deliver. I have four kittens and one older boy—someone I knew was throwing the kittens out at four weeks old, and I couldn’t let that happen. Now, I’m really stuck. I’m only 20 and dealing with all this after fleeing domestic violence a couple of months ago. I feel so upset that I can’t feed them or change their litter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I’m really trying my best. Thank you.
I’m so sorry to hear this. Have you checked local charities? Sometimes they can help with pet food or supplies.
You can also look into online communities or groups on social media. People sometimes donate or sell pet food for cheap.
Have you thought about starting a crowdfunding page? Sometimes friends and family can pitch in to help.
Don’t forget about the wishlist you shared! People can help through that too. Just keep pushing forward.
I can’t imagine how tough this is for you. Just remember, you’re doing a great job caring for them. Reach out for help when you can.
