It was young and very adorable. I couldn’t resist that cute little face. Anyone else have a similar story? 
He was cute in the Petfinder adoption listing and the ‘breed’ I wanted. When I met him at the shelter, he was nervous but then came to me. I just knew he was the one!

We stopped in PetSmart during an adoption event with no intentions of getting a dog. Our dog was caged while others were free. I sat down, and she jumped in my lap! My husband was like, ‘Well, I think we’ve got a dog.’ She’s my soulmate in dog form!

Dog one: she was an adorable shelter puppy, and I wanted her and her sister. Dog two: I met D2 just before she was going to be euthanized. She danced for me, and I was a goner. D1 is a favorite, but D2 is the sweetest dog ever!

This happened to me too! Funny how that works, right?
I went to the shelter bored one day and met a lively little guy who’s now my heart. I knew I wanted to rescue a greyhound, and he was meant to be mine.
I got my dog when my cousin needed to re-home him. He had been with me for almost a decade before cancer took him. He was the best companion!
