My senior dog isn’t in great health and has started fainting on walks. He loves his walks, and I feel terrible that we’ve had to limit them. What are people’s thoughts on dog prams or pushchairs? My husband is against it, but I just want to do what’s best for my boy. I think being outdoors and sniffing the air might help him feel better, but I worry he might be sad not being able to walk. What do you think?
I think a doggy pushchair could be a great idea! It allows him to enjoy the outdoors without overexerting himself. Plus, he can still take in all the sights and smells.
I understand your concern. Maybe try it out for short trips first. If he seems happy, that’s a good sign!
My dog loved being in his pushchair! It helped him feel included during walks while resting when he needed to. Don’t worry too much about what others think.
Consider his mood. If he seems to enjoy the fresh air from the pushchair, then it’s worth it. Just make sure he’s comfortable.
You know your dog best. If he loves being outside, a pushchair could keep him active without the strain. Just keep an eye on his reactions.
