My 3-month-old kitten has a slight fever of 103.4°F. She’s been acting like she doesn’t feel 100%, and when I brought her onto my bed, I noticed she felt abnormally warm. So, I checked her temperature, and as suspected, she has a fever. I plan on contacting my vet as soon as they open, but in the meantime, how can I help her?
Right now, she’s resting on her favorite blanket in my bed, and I’ve placed an ice pack underneath the blanket in hopes of helping her feel cooler. How often should I continue checking her temperature to make sure it’s not getting higher? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
