Hi all, it’s not really a special post, but I’m going through a lot as my cat Sebastian was admitted to the ER on Thursday for a urinary blockage, and I’m incredibly nervous for my boy. For the initial costs, I used CareCredit, but the costs are getting more and more expensive. In the span of almost five days, they have unblocked him, then he pees, and then the next day, he doesn’t. I’m really nervous he’s going to end up needing PU surgery, and I’m not sure how I’m going to keep affording this. Just need some kind words right now or pictures of your fur babies as my mental health is really struggling with not having him around and what this is all costing me. Thank you.
Having an animal sick is the worst feeling to have. Rest assured that the vet will do their best to keep Sebastian alive and well.

Do you have friends or family who can help out with costs? Sometimes just having someone to talk to about it helps.

Yeah, I’ve talked to a few friends. It helps a little but the financial stress is still heavy.
Make sure to take care of yourself too. It’s easy to forget when you’re focused on your pet’s health. You need to be okay to help him.
