How long does it take for flea eggs to hatch?

It’s been around 3 weeks since we first saw fleas on our pets. We treated them and have been cleaning every day except for the 8 days we were on vacation. When we got back, we found about 10 fleas after cleaning really well. Every time we vacuum, we find about 2 to 4 fleas. Our house has wooden floors, so we’re not sure where the fleas are hiding.

Flea eggs are the first part of a flea’s life. They need warmth and moisture to hatch. How fast they hatch depends on how warm and moist it is. If it’s just right, they can hatch in about 36 hours. If it’s not so good, they might take a few days to hatch.
