How do I express my gratitude to my cat

So picture this: it’s 1930 GMT on the night before Epiphany, and I just cooked dinner for my family. I’ve been cooking since 1500, but it’s all good because family is the most important thing. Fast forward a bit: the dishes are all washed up, and I’ve retired to the salon to relax with some reruns of Futurama. My cat, a 17-year-old toothless tortie, comes to join me. She spends her days sleeping to recharge because at night she sounds like a 1973 Jaguar E-type. She jumps onto my lap, and I start telling her how grateful I am for her existence and how she’s helped me adjust to a routine after moving from the big city. Then she looks at me, sneezes in my eye, and yawns. What do you think I should do?

Love her even more :heart: That’s such a sweet moment. Cats have a way of making everything better.

I feel so bad for getting in the way of her sneeze. It’s funny how they can just be so casual about it.

Fall harder than ever before. Sounds like she really loves being around you too.

Post your cat tax so we can all admire her, that’s what you do :face_holding_back_tears::two_hearts: I want to see her adorable face.

Sounds like you’re happy and it shook you. Glad you found your fur buddy. Cats are the best companions.

I’ve got an 18-year-old tortie that I just hugged again after reading this, that’s what I do. Cats are such blessings in our lives.

Go and buy the entire cat section in a petsmart. Spoil her a little, she deserves it.

I assume you mean Pets at Home since I’m in the UK. A mouse snuck in with the Christmas tree bag, and my toothless cat caught it and just gummed it for 25 minutes. I think the mouse ran outside from boredom lol.

@Darin
That’s hilarious, lol. But also, what do you buy for a cat with no teeth? I’m curious.

Right? I’m not even sure what to get her that she can actually eat. It’s a bit tricky.

:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy: This whole situation sounds too cute and funny at the same time.
