I have a four-month-old tuxedo cat, and I plan on deworming her with Elanco. How much of the pill should I give her since I don’t have anything to weigh her with? She’s not chunky!
If your cat has tapeworms, one dose is usually sufficient to kill them; but, if your cat has fleas or eats mice/birds, she may become reinfested and require repeated deworming. If your cat has roundworms, two dewormings two weeks apart are required. Make sure you have the correct deworming medication; tapeworms require a different treatment than roundworms.
