Hi all… I adopted a dog almost three weeks ago, and we’re still learning what she likes and doesn’t like in terms of treats and toys. Turns out she’s a huge fan of toys, especially plush ones, but she’s a super chewer. Destroys them super quickly. She’s been going through the plush toys we bought her one by one. We have other toys that aren’t plush, but she doesn’t seem to like those much. Any recommendations for toys that can withstand a super chewer? Thanks!
Try durable plush toys with reinforced stitching or rubber toys with a plush cover.
BullyMake rubber toys are great for tough chewers.
Good luck, there are toys made for tough chewers. Happy hunting.
Not a plush toy, but what soothes my 70+ pound super chewer is smoked beef bones from the local meat market. The vet recommended them, and they keep her busy for hours.

Wow, I never thought about bones! Do you just freeze them after buying?
@Leslie
Yeah, I buy them, freeze the package, and thaw one at a time. She loves it!
I’ve heard good things about those tough chew toys. Let us know what you end up trying!
