Does anyone else just feel so connected to their dog or pet? I don’t know if it’s weird at all, but my dog is my best friend. I recently moved away from home, and I feel like a part of me is missing without her. It almost feels like I can’t live without her or I get too sad because she always cheered me up. Just wondering if I’m a complete weirdo or if this is universal, lol.
I’m in the same boat right now. I moved two hours away from home on Tuesday and left behind my pitbull, Beta, who’s been my baby for 3 years. I feel so empty. I FaceTime her daily and plan to get her here sometime later this year, but ugh. Anyway, nope, you’re not a weirdo! I feel like my pup is my daughter, and I’m sure many people would agree with us!

Yes, we are for sure! And absolutely not, it’s nowhere near the same. I feel for you!
My dog is my bestie, and everyone knows it.

That’s awesome! It’s great to have that kind of bond. What’s your dog’s name?

Her name is Luna! She’s a total sweetheart.
Not weird at all! Dogs can be such great companions. Mine always knows when I’m feeling down.

Exactly! They just have this way of knowing how to cheer us up. What’s your dog’s name?
You’re definitely not alone! My dog is my whole world. It’s like they understand you better than anyone else.

It really does feel that way! Dogs have this unique bond with us.
I totally get it. I moved a while back and left my dog with my parents for a bit. It was tough until I could bring him with me.

That must have been hard. Happy you could eventually bring him along!
